These are the questions or customers most frequently ask about our baby gear rental service in San Diego. If you can’t find the question you are looking for, please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What are your hours?


We are open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, but we try our best to answer emails, phone calls, and text messages around the clock.

Is there a minimum number of days required for rental?

We prefer to have at least a 2 day minimum rental charge. For single day use, please contact us for pricing. The Renter is responsible for picking up and dropping off items.

Is there a delivery charge?

Depending on your location, the delivery charge can reach up to $25. This fee includes both pick up and delivery. For purchases over $150 delivery is FREE.

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

As soon as possible! We are more than happy to make last minute reservations but we cannot guarantee your desired products will be available.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 48 hours for all cancellations to avoid any penalty.  Any cancellations less than 48 hours will result in a 15% charge of your order total.  Cancellations made on the day your rental begins are non-refundable.

Do you install car seats?

We do not install car seats. However, manuals come with car seats.

Do you deliver to the airport?

We will deliver to baggage claim for a $10 fee due to parking costs, or we can meet you nearby at the rental car depot or the cellphone lot.

What if I'm not satisfied with the equipment provided?

Are your products safe & clean?

Absolutely! We thoroughly clean items and do safety checks after every use.

Can we extend our rental term if we decide to stay in San Diego longer?

Yes, subject to item availability.

Does Rent It Here Baby Gear set up the equipment?

We will set up under certain circumstances (contact us for more details), but manuals are always provided and we select our gear based on ease of set up, fold ability and maneuverability–so our customers rarely have problems
